The following events are expected on the Sun in 2024:

1. Parade of planets:

On 3-4, 2024, you will be able to watch the at dawn, when Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune line up in the sky. This is a rare phenomenon that can be seen with the naked eye in most regions of Ukraine.

2. Summer Solstice:

The summer solstice will occur on 21, 2024 at 23:50 Kyiv time. It is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day in the Southern Hemisphere. On this day, the Sun will reach the highest point in the sky.

3. Annular solar eclipse:

An annular will take place on June 10, 2024. Unfortunately, this eclipse will not be visible in Ukraine.

4. Solar activity:

The peak of solar activity is expected in June 2024. This means that there will be more sunspots, flares, and coronal mass ejections on the Sun. Magnetic storms may intensify on days with increased solar activity.
