UK weather forecast for tomorrow, May 16: is there any warmer weather on the horizon?

Weather in United Kingdom

Morning

Precipitation won't be bothering Scotland in the morning. Temperatures in Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Edinburgh should reach 12 Celsius before noon. Wrap up warmly if you are heading outside. 

Cloudy, changing to sunny intervals across Northern , North West England, West Midlands, and East of England. It is going to be just a bit warmer here: around 13 degrees.  

A dry and bright start to the day in Wales and southern parts of the UK. In that May sunshine temperatures in Southampton, Cardiff, and Plymouth getting to highs of around 14 Celsius at mid-day. 

Afternoon and evening weather forecast. 

The new weather front will bring clouds and further outbreaks of rain swinging in from the west. Some parts of Scotland will be affected. It's a good idea to bring along your umbrella, so that you don't get caught in poor May weather.

The rain will creep toward North East England. It will probably feel a bit colder, particularly if you are stuck under that spring rain in Newcastle. 

Remaining fine and often sunny elsewhere. The temperatures in eastern and southern areas are more widely in the mid-teens: up to 17 Celsius.

And what about the London weather?

It is going to be a sunny start to the day, but a lot of clouds will show up, as we go through the afternoon. Precipitation is not expected. Temperatures near normal to rather warm: around 16 or 17 Celsius.
