Tropical cyclone

A tropical cyclone is a rotating storm system that forms over warm ocean waters in tropical regions. It features a low-pressure center, strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms. Depending on location and strength, it’s called a hurricane, typhoon, or cyclone. Tropical cyclones can cause flooding, storm surges, and wind damage, especially when they make landfall.
