Morning weather forecast.

On Thursday morning, a new area of spring , starts pushing across and Northern , affecting Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast. As a result, a chilly start to the day: the temperature will slightly increase, from 6 to 8 Celsius.

Cloudy April weather without precipitation, is expected in Yorkshire & Humber, North East England, eastern and western areas of the UK. Temperatures ranging from highs of 9 Celsius to 11 Celsius, for most places.

Later in the morning, clouds and outbreaks of will become more widespread, across Wales and southern parts of England. People of Cardiff and Plymouth should better take an umbrella before heading outside.

Afternoon and evening weather forecast.

The unsettled picture continues, as we move further into Thursday. Showers, some of them - heavy, continue affecting southern England and Wales. At mid-afternoon, they will spread across all parts of the UK.

Bands of spring rain should partly leave : staying cloudy, but mostly dry in Edinburgh and Glasgow, during the second half of the day.

There will be some rain overnight, particularly over North West England, Yorkshire, and West Midlands.

And what about the London weather?

It is going to be a cloudy morning. Rain will start at late-afternoon, however, the temperature stays near normal: around 12 or 13 Celsius.
