According to BBC weather, next week there will definitely be showers and some longer spells of rain. And even thundery downpours are possible. However, temperatures will slightly drop. So what are the chances to see snow on New Year's weekend? Let's find out. Here is the seven-day forecast: from Monday, the twenty-sixth of December, to Sunday, the first of January.
Let's start with the northern cities of Scotland. The end of twenty-twenty-two is promising to bring some heavy showers to Aberdeen. The rain will stop here only by Sunday. Temperatures above freezing even at night.
Edinburgh. Cloudy, rainy weather with variable winds will turn sunny on Sunday as well. Stable above-zero temperatures without overnight frosts.
People of Glasgow will definitely see some heavy showers during the upcoming week. Daily temperatures around 10 Celsius on Friday, dropping back to 5 Celsius over the New Year's weekend.
Another rainy week in Newcastle. Better take an umbrella if you're heading outside. The sun will finally appear on the first day of twenty-twenty-three.
Belfast will suffer from soaking rain. It could get very windy on Thursday. However, the end of the week is promising some sunny spells.
We are moving to Hull. A cloudy start with heavy showers, but dry throughout the week with some sunshine. Monday is the coldest day with a temperature of 6 Celsius.
How long will the rain last in Liverpool? Well, at least six starting days. When going out, do not forget to take an umbrella.
