Branson, Missouri - May 13, 2024 - A brief scare struck Payne's Valley golf course, designed by legendary golfer Tiger Woods, on Monday afternoon. A tornado was spotted touching down near the course, according to local media reports.
Thankfully, the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the tornado caused no reported damage. While a Tornado Warning wasn't issued, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for areas surrounding Branson and Hollister just before the event.
